A
STM (Server TM) is a large translation memory hosted on a web server.
Translation
agencies, large companies, or translators´ associations can create their own
STMs on their own servers to share translations units among authorized
translators: contact us at www.wordfast.net for more information.
The www.wordfast.net server holds a set of very large TMs for public use. These
TMs are in read-only mode: you can only ‘receive‘ translation units, for free;
your translations are NOT recorded at www.wordfast.net. You can write to
info@wordfast.net and offer TMs for inclusion into the wordfast public STM, if
confidentiality is not a problem - your contribution
wifl be appreciated.
The
‘test-drive@www.wordfast.net‘ STM is read-write - your translation units are recorded,
then served to the public. Fed free to use this mode even on ‘trash‘ or bogus
sentences for testing purposes; the test-drive STM is regularly emptied.
