Next beta version WF 5.50w: One drives the Google-translate engine, the other one drives the BabelFish engine. So a few languages are added thanx to BabelFish (1).It should be fairly easy to find out parameters to use other online MT engines. Speed has been multiplied by two this time (22.11.2006), and there's no noticeable delay when a regular translation session is done, past the first segment. |
(1) that's Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, from/to English with Google and BabelFish adds Dutch, Greek, Russian.
BabelFish can exclude terms from the MT process, which opens the door to having terminology be propagated rather than MTed. |
