The purpose of this Directive is to establish a general framework setting out minimum requirements for the right to information and consultation of employees in undertakings or establishments within the Community.
Cílem této směrnice je zavedení obecného rámce, kterým se stanoví minimální požadavky pro právo na informování zaměstnanců a projednávání se zaměstnanci v podnicích nebo závodech ve Společenství.

The data bases referred to in the second indent of Article 1 shall contain full details of requirements for importing animals and products into the Community, in particular information on lists of authorized third countries, approved establishments, protective measures adopted and authorized specimen certificates.
Databáze uvedené v čl. 1 druhé odrážce obsahují všechny informace o podmínkách pro dovoz zvířat a produktů do Společenství, a zejména informace týkající se seznamů schválených třetích zemí, schválených podniků a přijatých ochranných opatření a informace týkající se vzorů schválených osvědčení.

These standard requirements should ensure effective practices of transnational information and consultation of employees, as well as their participation in the relevant organs of the SE if and when such participation existed before its establishment within the participating companies.
Tyto standardní požadavky by měly zajistit účinné postupy při nadnárodním informování a projednání se zaměstnanci a jejich účast v příslušných orgánech SE, pokud existovala taková účast v zúčastněných společnostech před založením SE;

The Department of Transportation encourages self-regulation as the least intrusive and most efficient means of ensuring the privacy of information provided by consumers to airlines and accordingly supports the establishment of a "safe harbor" regime that would enable airlines to comply with the requirements of the European Union's privacy directive as regards transfers outside the EU.
Ministerstvo dopravy podporuje samoregulaci jako nejméně obtěžující a nejúčinnější způsob zajištění ochrany informací, které poskytují spotřebitelé leteckým společnostem, a v souladu s tím podporuje zavedení režimu "bezpečného přístavu", který by leteckým společnostem umožnil splnit požadavky směrnice Evropské unie o ochraně soukromí, pokud jde o předávání údajů mimo EU.

Koordinace požadavků na tyto pravidelné informace má podobné cíle jako u prospektů, zejména zlepšit ochranu investorů, zajistit rovný přístup k ní, usnadnit kotování cenných papírů na více burzách cenných papírů v rámci Společenství, a tím přispět k vytvoření skutečného kapitálového trhu Společenství a umožnit plnější vzájemné prolínání trhů s cennými papíry.
